Licenses issued on behalf of specified goods shall be for separate purposes as follows:-
(a) Export licence:-
(1) For commercial purposes, it will be issued in the name of industrial and commercial firm company or institute.
(2) To be issued for private use.
(3) Issuance of samples, gifts or for promotional purposes.
(4) To be issued on behalf of goods to be returned or repaired.
(5) To be issued on behalf of a government office.
(b) Import license:-
(1) To be issued in the name of government offices, government-owned institutes and committees and projects under them.
(2) Contracts for the completion of projects under government offices, government-owned institutes and committees shall be issued for the purposes of leases or agreements.
(3) To be issued in the name of a business firm, company, institute for commercial purpose.
(4) To be issued in the name of any organization or establishment for charitable, social, religious, educational and other similar welfare activities without the purpose of profit.
(5) To be issued for private use.
(6) To be issued for the use of a firm or company related to industry, tourism industry, travel agency or similar business.
(7) Issuance of sample gifts or for promotional purposes.
